Main duties of the job
- Leading and supervising a dedicated team of nurses and healthcare assistants to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care.
- Ensuring the highest standards of patient care are consistently met through regular monitoring, staff support, and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Coordinating patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining clear communication with all relevant departments.
- Managing ward resources effectively, including staffing levels and availability of medical equipment, to support safe and efficient patient care.
- Providing expert clinical advice and support to colleagues to assist with complex cases and promote best practices across the team.
