Main duties of the job

1. Leading and supervising a dedicated team of nurses and healthcare assistants to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care.

2. Ensuring the highest standards of patient care are consistently met through regular monitoring, staff support, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

3. Coordinating patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining clear communication with all relevant departments.

4. Managing ward resources effectively, including staffing levels and availability of medical equipment, to support safe and efficient patient care.

5. Providing expert clinical advice and support to colleagues to assist with complex cases and promote best practices across the team.
